DESCRIPTION
A reimagining of Yi Kwang-Soo’s story on Zainichi identity and isolation, told through the conflicted, yearning perspective of a young Korean scholar in imperial Japan. This edition tackles the topic of postcolonialism by intersplicing the text’s three known translations and mapping contemporary displaced communities.
