DESCRIPTION
Redesign of Vogue Japan’s print magazine and social identity. Leaning into the beauty of Japanese typography, the updated design stresses grids and bold letterforms. The result is a blend of styles native to 1990s Japanese magazine design with the freeform modes of expression embraced by a web-fluent generation of creators and readers.

DESCRIPTION
Concept, casting, location scouting, and design for Vogue’s global story on the Lunar New Year. Models spend a day at gunpowder artist Cai Guo-Qiang’s studio and estate, helping him to fashion a brand new work.
